Origin
I wrote this because I needed it and nothing on the market works.
I'm a late-diagnosed ADHD adult. I have a closet full of productivity products I bought in a hopeful hour and abandoned in a bad week. Full Focus planner. Structured. Three versions of Todoist. Two Notion bundles. Every one of them punished me for missing a day.
Missed days become red X marks. Skipped journal entries become guilt cues. Streaks break. Shame cascades. You abandon the system. Buy the next one. Repeat.
I sat down and wrote what I actually needed. Not another productivity system. A system that assumes the ADHD brain will be offline for a week, sometimes three, and welcomes you back without guilt.

The Handbook (~60 pages)
A field manual, not a motivational book. 14 chapters on how ADHD actually works: working memory, time blindness, task initiation, transitions, hyperfocus, sleep, money, relationships, and the 2am problem. Plain language, specific, honest. Real sources cited. No "as we discussed in chapter 3" callbacks.
The Notion System
Functional on day 1 with sample data pre-filled. Survives being abandoned for two weeks. A "Right now" dashboard (max 2 tasks visible), a Dead Letter Office for tasks you're formally letting go of, a weekly re-entry ritual, and a brain dump. All components are removable in one click.
Printables (PDF)

From Chapter 3 — The Deskrune Approach
Every other productivity product on the market assumes daily use, and treats non-daily use as failure. We flip it. We assume non-daily use, and treat daily use as a bonus. Our first design question for every component is not how do we make someone use this every day. It's what does this component do for someone who hasn't opened it in three weeks. If the answer is "welcome them back without guilt and get them useful in three minutes," the component stays. If the answer is "show them a wall of missed days, red warning icons, or a reset streak counter," the component gets rebuilt or cut.
Why this works, mechanistically: the failure mode of abandoned systems isn't that we forget they exist — we usually remember, often at 2am. It's that reopening them is emotionally expensive. The tab is loaded with every missed day and every task we didn't do. Lowering the re-entry cost below the re-entry dread is the entire game. Three prompts and three minutes is below the dread threshold for most of us, most of the time. That's the design target.
