Why this happens

Decoding ambiguous messages is its own flavor of executive-function tax. ADHD adults spend disproportionate time re-reading the same Slack/email because the subtext is exhausting and the right response feels high-stakes. The actual problem is rarely the message — it's that your brain has to simulate the sender's mood, the reply, the consequences, and the timeline simultaneously. Outsourcing the decode lets you skip the simulation and answer the actual question.
