Congruent correct — Incongruent correct — Avg RT — Flanker effect —How it works. Standard Eriksen flanker — a lab-grade measure of how much distractors slow you down. The flanker effect is your incongruent RT minus your congruent RT; the gap is how much the distractors cost you. Healthy adults are typically 50–100 ms; ADHD adults often show 80–150 ms. Lower is better. The number isn't a verdict; it varies with sleep + medication state.
