What you pay
Whatever number you type into Gumroad's checkout. The minimum is $0. The suggested is $4.99. The maximum is whatever you want. Same offer for everyone — there's no secret tier, no early-buyer rate, no countdown that flips the price.
What you get
The full kit. PDF + editable .docx. Updates for life — bookmark deskrune.com/kits/ and the URL always serves the latest revision. No login. No portal. No email-link gymnastics.
Why $4.99 is the suggestion
It's the price at which the cost of trying us is lower than the cost of one cup of coffee. ADHD adults have been burned by every productivity-industry offer that wanted $4.99 up front for a thing they'd abandon by week two. The $4.99 number says: try it, refund it if it doesn't fit, no harm done.
Why no countdown
Countdowns are conversion-optimized urgency theatre. Every ADHD adult has watched a sale timer reset itself the moment it hit zero. We never want to be that. The price today is the price next month. Nothing about your decision needs to happen in the next 47 hours.
Why no founders edition
"Founders edition" usually means "we'll charge early buyers more for the same thing later by adding fake features." We don't do that. If you buy today and the kit gets better tomorrow, you get tomorrow's version free, same URL.
What it actually costs us
Hosting on Cloudflare Pages: about $5/month for the whole site. Gumroad's cut: 10% + 30¢ per sale. AI tools for content: ~$25/month. Domain: $12/year. Time: an unreasonable amount, much of it hyperfocused, unbilled. The kits don't cover the time at any price. We're betting the audience does eventually.
What "free is fine" means
If you set the number to $0 in checkout, Gumroad lets you do it and the kit lands in your inbox the same way as if you paid $50. We don't gate the file behind a payment threshold. The pay-what-fits model is real, not a euphemism.
